A7N8X-E Deluxe

Well I got it Thursday, been playing with it a bit. So far so good. The board has an excellent layout, runs stable. I haven't overclocked much as I haven't picked up an aftermarket HSF. Temps are 36'C at idle. I am running through the burn-in period at the moment, but I'll be sure to get back to you with some numbers. I do have a locked Athlon XP 2500+ Barton, but no worries. The machine posts and runs at 11x200 no problem. Temps on the stock HSF are an issue when overclocked, go figure, so I'll be picking up a new combo sometime this week.

I do like the fact that the Gigabit lan is hardware controlled. Its made by Marvell. I do have a gigabit switch however I have no other machines at the moment with a gigabit card in them to test. I bought the switch for my servers at a lanparty I host, www.bitfission.com. On paper 1000Mbit = 125MB/sec throughput. 100Mbit = 12.5MB/sec, so the outlook looks good. Only time will tell. Have a great day.
