Just the -advmethods flag will do you as the TBird's dont support SSE.

Yep, -advmethods should be fine. They have 3dnow so will get some boost when doing Gromacs.

That rig should be good for about 50 points every 2 - 3 days. My 1 Gig Tbird Athlon did exactly 72 hours on the 51.4 pointers and close to 54 hours on the 53.3 pointers but I haven't had it run any of the slower 53.77 pointers that are out right now.
