plugins and mozilla firebird

Whenever i go to a website that has macromedia or flash on it, it tells me i need the plugin. I go get it and install. I do close my browser when i install it. After installation when i go back to page it still tells me i need plugin.

I have latest version of mozilla firebird. How do i fix this?

Are you installing it correctly? You need to browse for the plugin directory and install from there, just clicking along wont install it correctly.

wait... im having the same prob... maybe cause its a new program... does www.sharkextreme.com load up funny for you? Any way of fixing it?

hmmm, mine worked just fine, are you getting the shockwave plugin listed in the plugin section under tools?

I do download and install them from my firebird/plugins directory. Restart dosnt help.
