ok im doing the leak test on my watercooling system, and one of the mag 3 barb is having very slow leakage thats really small not major, anyway how do i apply this teflon tape

teflon tape aka plumber's tape
wrap it around the threads (only once) and screw it in
used to use it a lot for CO2 systems in paintball

You don't have to put only 1 layer on. STart at the top of the thread and slowly put it on FOLLOWING the same path as the thread. It is fine to overlap, but try not to go over say 3-4 layers. Make sure to keep tension on the tape as you are going around the threads and make sure it is applying smoothly and not all wrinkled.

The mag3 for me was very tight with one layer of teflon tape.

I wouldn't go over 1 layer.

Try not to overlap if you can.
