CPU temp Drop??

This is odd.... I bought a P4 2.8Ghz 512K L2, 533 FSB. SilentTek's hardware monitoring app was reading my CPU @ 44C idle!! Then I upped the FSB to 143Mhz (effectively 572). Well since then, the app is reading my CPU temp as 35C My BIOS reads it the same too, so I don't think the program is using the wrong sensor..... o/cing it results in lower temps?? weird, eh? something doesn't sound quite right here... anyone have any advice??

That is weird, but if the BIOS says 35C and the thing is stable...........lucky you!.
That's still weird though.
