DC ram problem

I got a call from work today from my mom who was trying to use my comp, saying the comp was beeping, i got home and checked the debug thing (on my epox 4pca3+) it said AF, i looked in the board manual and couldnt find AF, i checked on a few sites and couldnt find anything...

anyway, i narrowed it down to the ram, with 1 stick of ram in the comp it runs fine, and it doesnt matter which stick, they both work. (2x256m mushkin pc3500 lvl2) and they both work together in my 8rga+, when they are both in though (any combo of slots) i get AF after the bios goes past C1.

WHATS WRONG???

i didnt change any of the hardware or settings, and the comp has run fine since i got it.

Well i figured out one important item... the left 2 ram slots cause the board to post AF to the debug LED.

anyone have any ideas?
