Hay!
I have the following problem:
First the main system specs:
Intel P4 2.8 HT @ 3.5 GHz, 1,575 V
Kingston HyperX PC4000 @ 500 MHz, 2,6 V
Abit IS7-E
Ati Radeon 9800Pro, 1,55 V
The problem:
The system works stable and without any crashing even at 3.6 GHz. But when running some DirectX 9 applications like Aquamark 3 there are some strange graphic errors but the system won't crash.
After changing memory multiplier to 5:4 or reducing FSB to 220 MHz these errors are gone. When I disable AGP Fast Write the errors are also gone but graphic performance is low. So the problem is the memory acces over the AGP bus, right?
Now, what can I do to resolve this issue? I have tried another motherboard from the same type and a Ati R 9600XT card and I get the same errors when AGP fast write is on.
Maybe somebody has the same problem using an Intel 856 Mobo and 1:1 memory multiplier anf FSB higher than 220 MHz?
Can anybody help in this?
