I wonder if they try to convince ATI to create a chipset. It would great if ATI created a chipset for motherboards.
 
I read through the xbit article awhile ago, and I remember them saying that Abit wouldn't completely stop producing nVidia products. They would only sell enough nVidia based prodcts (mainboards, viedo cards) to keep up with the demands of the end-user. That being said, Abit looks like its going to start focusing on VIA for mainboards (maybe SiS even) and ATI and XGI for graphics.

Than god they decided to split up after creating the NF7 series and not before it :)
