Highest Overclocked 2500+ LOCKED Barton ?

is it possible to push fsb on locked barton?
also what is your results from oc'ing a locked barton 2500+
what board and ram you have..

yea its fairly easy to get an AMD 2500 from 1.83 ghz to 2.2 ghz aka AMD 3200. Some people can get it to 2.4 and 2.5 ghz. Just make sure u have a good heatsink/fan, and PC 3200 Ram or faster. (I have neither)

New locked Bartons tend to overclock more than old unlocked ones.

MHz speed = [FSB] x multiplier.


The word 'locked' means 'multiplier locked' not 'FSB locked'.

FSB depends on your RAM (mainly).
PC3200 overclocks into the 200s FSB, depending on the brand.
