Everything I need to know on Hitachi

Can you guys refer me, or tell me things about Hitachi.

I need to know the company very well. Things such as recent deals they've done, new products, and how they are doing as a business.

IMHO Hands down Hitachi makes the best picture tubes. Sony is the only company that can come close to their quality. Back in 2001 Hitachi made the decision to pull out of the PC CRT monitor business and focus on making LCD's. I just checked the Hitachi Displays site and it looks like they still have a 19' CRT in production. AFAIK the only thing Hitachi bought from IBM was their HDD business.
