Floppy is broken

Here is my problem, i have 2 sata hd's siting next to me, but the only way to get them working is to get the drivers, via the floppy, and it doesnt work. Ive turned the cable around, it has power, it READS, (i hear the clicking and ****) but it doesnt read the floppy. Im at a loss, thanks for any help.

If you cant use a CDrom for the files then you have to find another A drive or just buy 1.Dont you have more then 1 rig in the house?

you might want to make sure that the cable is plugged in correclty in both ends, as it can be placed upside down, and right side up and still fit, common mistake with floppys.
