I have a 36.6 pointer on my Stock 1700 Pally layer going at around 12 hours per WU which is around 517 PPW from that one layer! My Main rig usually pulls around the same PPW running the 51 - 53 point Gromacs!

On the other hand my Main rig is on a 41.1 point p1006 protein looking at 14 hours for the WU which is up there with the times of the 50+ point gromacs. The EST. PPW on this rig is down to 472. :(

For those that are wondering, I am getting these PPW stats from this cool little program.

how do you tell what protein you are folding, and how do you get your system to fold those =P

You can tell what protein you are folding with the program I listed as well as EMIII which comes from here. http://www.em-dc.com

You cannot pick what proteins you want, but using the -advmethods flag requests the latest WU's which are mostly gromacs.

I have that one on an intel 2640Mhz .. 6hrs and 10 mins per WU according to EMIII .. sweet :D ..

besides teh 920, all 32 pointers from 800 series are also good (32 point for ~7hrs on above rig usually).

Yes, the 32 pointers are my favorites. On a few of them I've seen over 900ppw from my 2532MHz barton.
