P4C800 deluxe raid problems

Question P4C800 deluxe raid problems


i have just tried getting a raid 0 settup going ...i got as far as setting up the array, then loaded promise drivers only to find that i could'nt press f8 to accept and to install windows and nothing happened?? so i cancel and reboot try to formatt again in fdisk and again no drive/s to formatt ...totally lost has anyone an idea of where i am going worng or has anyone experienced similair probs? the only place i noticed some recognition on my mobo's part was in boot priority otherwise my array dos'nty exist :s

The last time I tried setting up an array on my machine, windows wouldn't install itself on a raid partition. I had a slow hdd on the primary master, and the raid was just added space and where I put my swapfile. I don't know if this is what you are having an issue with or not.

it was my microsoft media keyboard causing the problem....f8 would'nt work to accept the installation of windows .....doh!!!
