I just got my new psu today, sparkle 350w. I'm fairly new to the build your own computer thing so this is my first non generic psu. Let me say, so far so good, Hardware Doctor is showing voltage readings much closer to where they should be as compared to before.

Sadly i haven't yet seen much of a performance gain in my machine, but i haven't played around much either.

I just wanted to thank everyone in this forum for leading me to the fortron/sparkle unit's.

Thanks

Kevin

A good quality psu will not outrright give you a performance gain. It can allow you to further overclock a machine that is hitting a wall due to voltage fluctuations due to weak PSU. More importantly, it will NOT take out expensive computer components with it when/if it fails.
