Which do you recomend and why? Thinking of getting Mushkin 3500 L2 with the BH-5. Where are this still available at. Please provide links if possible. Thanks for all your input

Kingston HyperX 3200 (non A) and Mushkin 3200 & 3500 Level II are great choices and both have BH-5 in them (though the Kingston is not going to be like that forever)

To make sure you get BH-5 memory chips go with the Mushkin 3500 Level II. If you buy it at newegg.com it is cheaper than the 3200.

I would get a matched pair

2x256MB Mushkin 3500 Level II
$178
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProdu...146-291&catalog=147&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1

2x512MB Mushkin 3500 Level II
$305
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProdu...146-292&catalog=147&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1

Both are currently instock, so get them while you can

Yes the Mushkin will do tighter timings the PC4000 should in theory be able to reach a higher speed but at the cost of tight timings

The Mushkin 3500 Level II is both a great overclocker and can do very tight timings. Well worth the extra money even without having fancy LEDs

Also the Corsair 4000Pro runs stock timings of 3-4-4-8 while the Mushkin runs 2-2-2-6 stock

...

Sent you a PM about this. If you are really strapped for cash buy the refurbished memory since it would only be about $20 more than what 2x256 would cost you. $100 savings over the regular newegg price is a great incentive.

I just bought that the 2x512 lvl 2 dual pack.

I'll tell ya how good they oc soon :)

Can't beat 1gig bh-5 for 200! Guaranteed 217fsv 2-2-2-6

I can't wait :)
