Unhappy Installed Redhat 9, But sound doesn't work HELP!!!

Hi,

Im new to this Linux thing, however i did install it oncebefore, and this is my second time.

Install was straight forward. It dected the sound card when it first boot up, but no sound with cd player. I tried to dectect it on desktop, but nothing, how do i configure it in command mode?

The first time i installed linux sound works, it was a older RH version, and i configured it at the command mode, i forgot wat it is now.

Thx for any help

Very Low

p1 233, old components and all, that could be the prob

was just playing around with it and its terrably slow, the old version that i installed before i think is more suited for this comp.
