Well, i have a Sk6+ and a TT Smartfan II, but I don't have a fan adaptor, and since the sk6+ only usues 60mm fans I have it in a diamond shape held onto the heatsink (see juans SK6 mod on the overclockers page).

Will using a 60-80mm fan adapter provide better Cooling or is it really not worth the hassle ?

For $8.00 Its worth a try.You won't know if you don't do it.It will be cheaper than buying a diff.HS. Test it out. Then you will know the answer. What are your temps now, including ambient(room) temp. and case temp?? THE FANMAN:cool:

As Jenna Jameson says "bigger is better"

I'd say get it also, you can't have enough air on your cpu.

I've already got the 80mm fan mounted on my sk6, i was just wondering if the adapter would be of any extra help when cooling it ? Heh, I wish those things were $8 over there... they're like $15 :(

But yeah, cheers for the help, I guess I coudl get one and see if it helps.

At the moment temps are:
--Side Panel on--
Idle : 48c
Load : 52c

--Side Panel off--
Idle -- 42c
Load -- 48c
