alright just swapped mb's and i took of the heatsink and cpu...should i do any cleaning to them and does cleaning it help oc'ing at all?

In my experience, a little "dusting off" never hurts....So clear off any dust you see on the HS, and remove (using alcohol) whatever thermal grease is between your cpu and HS.

Reapply (sorry if this is too basic for you) thermal compound (Arctic Silver 3 or 5 for instance), and put the thing back together.

If lucky, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see your cpu temp drop by a degree or two.....

Edit: You'll also want to remove any dust on the HS fan!
