sup guys, i was just wondering if this mobo had the temp warning and emergency shut off option...let me know i might return my abit a7n for that one

Ah not too sure .... I do belive there is ill check and get back too ya..

*EDIT: No there isn't an automatic shutdown option in the bios ( That I can See ). but the mb driver disk has a utility that monitors the temps and will warn you when the cpu reaches to high of a temp.

Actually, if the CPU overheats, the system will shut down. I know, I put my HSF on backwards by accident (DUHHHH!). The system would boot and then shut down within about 20 seconds or so. Couldn't figure it out at all until I noticed the CPU temp on my Aerogate and then found the HSF was on backwards. No options in BIOS regarding this, it just shuts down if the CPU is too hot.
