Static + Keyboard = Suprise breakage

Well, I guess I had a static charge, and moving over to hit my hot keys, I fluttered over my Caps Lock LED.

ZAP!!

Now the darn thing is stuck on, and just gets brighter/dimmer according to whether caps lock is on or not.

I have to say, it's really really annoying.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a keyboard that always has the "scroll lock" light stuck on and it gets dimmer/brighter depending on what/how many keys you would be pressing.
