Slot CPU's


What is the best way to cool a slot cpu?
can u use thermal paste on them or watercooling..?

First, you MUST use thermal paste. Absolute necessity. The best stuff is Arctic Silver thermal compound.

Air cooling; I highly recommend the Alpha P3125. I've got one on my P/// 600E, and with Arctic Silver and two YS Tech 27 CFM fans, I have NEVER SEEN 40C!! Even when running Prime95 AND Sandra CPU Burn-in together (ie, at the same time) Usually maxes at around 36 to 38c.

Can't beat that with a stick......unless you opt for watercooling, which is not my field of expertise. Perhaps someone with more H20 knowledge than I will reply, to give you an answer to the third part of your question.
