Ceramique Question

Does Ceramique become thinner in consistancy when it is heated? I ask this because I want to know how much it will spread out even after I have spread a thin layer across the heatspreader on my 2.4C. Also, I am going to lap my heatsink. Should I rub the ceramique into the HS like the instructions say or will this just mess up my lapping job?

Ceramique stays pretty thick and gooey, even at high temperatures. I would follow the directions and rub it lightly in to the base of your heatsink like the directions say, they know what they're talking about.
