I think there is a 10 Gigabit fibre optic card out, though I don't think a cable connection will use more than 0.1% of that though Any 100 megabit card will be much more than you need for cable internet, even a 10 megabit will do, but 100 megbit is almost the same price (or cheaper).

Cable only provides approx. 30% of the bandwidth that most cards can handle and even less for the newer ones.
