EQ II question...

Just got a mag today and it says that EQ 2 will be out 1st quarter 2004... anyone know what date if any they are shooting for a release? I was going to start playing FF XI but would rather wait for this. TIA...

According to the February edition of PCGamer, it comes out March 14th

According to EBWorld.com it ships out June 14th

So as for anything official, who knows

i dont think the game is in beta yet, im not sure if there are even beta sign-ups, if thats the case it wont be in march

the exact date isnt sure, SOE is just saying sometime in 2004.. and beta is starting soon

Keep checking http://www.eqii.com and its forums daily and you will know when beta is starting and when the game will be released. That said, like the above posts mention there is no set release date for the game or a date when beta will start. All we know is the game will be released sometime in 2004. However Moorgard, SOE's community manager for EQ2, frequently answers posts on eqii.com and also on the IGN EQ2 boards and until HE states a date for either beta or release all other sources quoting a date ARE JUST PLAIN WRONG.
