I have a 700mhz Slot A Athlon, that I want to try overclocking to 900mhz hopefully.

I can't figure out how to take the heatsink off, so I can take apart the casing.

So, how do I go about doing it, and links would be great, THANKS!! :D

Yeah I'm gonna screw around with the multiplier and voltage resistors.

That link doesn't tell me about the heatsink, I need to take the heatsink off first.

is it a stock AMD or after market?
some are just glued onto the back plate...
might have to do a quick web search

I don't know if it is aftermarket, or OEM.

It has a cooler master fan on it though.

It also has 2 clip type things that I can fold 2 ways, one makes it feel tight, the other is like a release. But it doesn't really feel any looser.

try twisting it when its on relase...
see if it comes lose....

best thing you can do really is play with it :D

im trying to think here i took one of a 850 there was screw's on the metal hold down straps. they were in ther center. ill have to go look at it ill do that

i have a single Cooler master here with the with two fliper's next to the fan i poped them up and i took a lil effort to pop them apart
