Question Help: easy way to transfer / back up the Group Policy settings in XP Pro

Like the title says is there an easy way to transfer / back up the Group Policy settings in XP Pro? I reload XP Pro in my system regularly (once a quarter at least) and I am sick of going through all my settings every time I don’t want to use ghost or anything like that as I change to much of my hardware and software (like they where a pair of socks ). Something like using notepad with the registry.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks,
Stedeman

Make a new template for each area(in gp), modify like you want then save it. After you reinstall just import the new template to the new user.
