Any 80mm fans with greater airflow than the TMD fan will be noisier. Also, the TMD fan, with its very small center hub, moves more air thru the center of the heatsink for greater cooling efficiency. For significantly greater airflow without a noise penalty, I think you should look at 92mm fans. Also, I think that adapter you linked to would restrict airflow thru the heatsink & reduce your cooling. I'm running a Vantec Aeroflow with the TMD fan on my P4 & don't find the noise level too high. I suggest either a 92mm fan or keeping the TMD fan.

It say,s here at www.thermalright.com ,that the SLK 700 comes with 92mm fan clips.Try running one of the medium or high 92mm Panaflo fans on your HS.
