Might wanna look at this thread I started in another section. I benchmarked a 2.8C at 3.5 gig and compared 1:1 vs. 5:4 ratio. The 1:1 ratio wins. Then I compared a high FSB 2.4C running at 5:4 using the 5:4 ratio which edged them both out.

My new AI7 is showing no real world gains from going to 5:4 from 3:2 at 285fsb with my 2.4C, it is beginning to annoy me.....all computers fear my wrath!

how do you get your 2.8 to such high FSB mine can only do 240 and still not stable with mem @5:4 or 3:2

vkvenom did u try raising ur vcore and vdimm? sometimes u need to do that to get stability

itied higher vcore up to 1.675 and my vdimm is @ 2.85same thing will not pass prime 95 @ 5:4 mem must be the cpu ! i think i will get a 3.0 and try that lol!
