how do I make use of the s-video output on my video card?????

usually an output goes to an input.

so if you have a tv that has an svideo input you can plug your card into it.

that is what I was thinking,but I would rather ask,my tv does not have an s-video connector does anyone know if there are adapters for the 3 rca inputs,or do they not use the same type of interface??

Yes, most cards come with them. I have 3 or 4 laying around.

You can get that kind of adapter at walmart or radio shack. I'd try Walmart first, It's probably cheaper

You can get an s-vid to composite(RCA) adapter. Make sure you get the right pin config as some s-video use 7 and some use 4 on the vid card.

BTW most cards with svid come with an adapter or you can buy one at ratschack.

Do you mean svid to component?? I've never heard of an adapter of that type but I've also never heard of everything.
