How will a 2.0 Celly crunch Seti?

How about o/c'ed to 2.8?

I never bought one and im just trying to get a barring on how fast/slow they are.

Thanks,

Adam

They're really not too bad. I have a 2.0 GHZ, OC'ed to 2.666 GHZ(stupid motherboard won't let me go any higher). Althought it's nowhere near AMD standards or P4, it's not bad at all, and dirt cheap with a great overclock on stock hsf. I'm not too sure about crunching with SETI, but I'm sure it's pretty good, and my results with sisoft sandra says, its just below par with an AMD 2000. Hope this info HELPS!

I have celeron 2.0 GHz and it runs 3.33 GHz.

I suggest P4 1.8A and gamble with it. Why? Celeron only has 128K cache and it does show lower score in 3dmark compare to real P4 1.8A @2.70 GHz
