Sonic MyDVD

I testing Sonic (trial download).

I have hit the following problem

I have loaded in an avi file 1hour 53 minutes - this burnt with NeroVision express I was just not happy with the quality.

However in Sonic I get the following message when I try to burn

The project will not fit on the media. Please reduce the project size

I am stuck I should be able to get over 2 hours on a DVD???

any ideas

If you are burning a DVD that autoplays when you insert the disk into a player, there are a group of formatting files that are automatically
added to the project. This effectively shortens the time. If you are just buring the avi as a data file, the size of the file is more important. It has to usually be less than 4 GB.

I took the same avi input file using NeroVision express nero encodes to mpeg 2 and burns.

The input file is just under 2 hours of footage in raw avi format from a digital camcorder.

performing the same process in Sonic fails with the above message. The trial software does not seem to come with help only the tutorial.

I have been through the tutorial, checked on their website and even searched for the error message on google - all to no avail.

Any Sonic expert's help would be greatfully received.
