I installed Suse 9.0 Pro along my win xp pro and everything went fine except that installation CDs did not have drivers for my NIC (neither did wxppro). I have M7NCG mobo with onboard Nvidia MCP NIC. I went to Nvidia website and downloaded the driver and installed it with Yast,- everything went fine. So, then I went to YAST and configured my DHCP and I still have no internet. What would your suggestions be to get about this problem, step by step?

The only thing I tried is:

linux:/home/mbekkali # ifconfig
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:115 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:115 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:7683 (7.5 Kb) TX bytes:7683 (7.5 Kb)

linux:/home/mbekkali # ifconfig eth0 up
eth0: unknown interface: No such device
linux:/home/mbekkali # ifconfig eth0
eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found
linux:/home/mbekkali #
linux:/home/mbekkali #

In my hardware information I can see that my NIC is installed but let me know what I should do to make sure since I get the message that eth0 is not found.

Thank you in advance.
