Im trying to achieve new levels of speed with my PIII but Win2k blue screens with these Machine Check errors. I read that these are the cpu detecting an internal error and then triggering the blue screen. This can only happen under NT OSes, does anyone know how to disable this checking?

Welcome to the forums.
First, try upping you CV(core voltage) a little. 0.05-.01. Before you do that have decent cooling.

It also could be a heat issue. Try opening the side of the case and put a fan up to the side and see if it stops.

I have the same problem when the CV is too low or heat is too high.

I don't know of any way to dissable this, as it is critical to booting win2k ( I think).
I would agree that it is probably a heat or voltage issue, and a little extra cooling, and after that, a little extra volts could have it up and singing
