Thumbs up Extra cooling for my gpu


I modded my old p4 heatsink to fit my geforce 4 card. check it out

that's a pretty clean job you did there. Do you have any pics from other angles? Did it increase your overclock, and by how much?

I can get some other pics of it. I will link them here when I get them. I'm still working on the overclock. I don't seem to be getting as high as I want to. I may have to increase my agp voltage. I have had it to this being stable 300/500 stock was 250/450

Here is a pic of the back side of the card. I mounted the hs on similar to how my sp-94 is mounted using a backing plate. More pics to come....

The backing plate is just a piece of steel plate from a old computer case. I used a non conductive pad that could withstand heat in between the plate and the board. It is actually the padding that came inside the sp-94 box.

I'm still working on the overclock yet. last stable result was 300/500. Thanx for the compliments I have another pic here (finally...) this is the card in my rig.
