i need 2.85 for my corsair twinx1024c2pro to run at 230fsb with 1:1 ratio. and that is the highest my board offers. is that a safe voltage for this memory?
thanks
Definitely shouldn't be a problem, especially if the stock vdd for those sticks is 2.6v. Often times, removing the heatsinks on the RAM helps, as they actually trap more heat than they disperse.
cool, thanks. but guess taking off the heatspread will be a problem since it's the kind of corsair memory with LED on it. i'll just keep the way it is since i have 7 case fans.
