Question what is good temp for my setup?

my p4 1.8A OCed to 2.52 with an asus pfp800 core voltage 1.71 has temps of 31C Idle 46C load, i am using Vantec AeroFlow VP4-C7040 for cooling. what is my limit as far as temps go?

update

well i hooked my cpu fan upto a thermal control unit so i could get full rpms out of it since the mobo controlled it before, and now the temps are 31C idle and 38C load with burnin from sandra.

Nice What a difference more rpm and cfm make. Is the dBA at a decent level?

1.7 doesnt seem to be too much voltage, i am now oced to 2.7, same temps too. the dBa is fairly decent, although im ordering 2 80mm smartfans for some more cfm, see if that helps, if anyone knows of a place i can find max temps please let me know, because the temps are the only thing keeping me from ocing more

well now the cpu fan died this morning, all of a sudden just dies, stops moving, then i hook it up back to the mobo, and it works, im guessing the thermal moniotr is messing up, but now im paranoid that my cpu fan is just going to stop working while im gone one day.

bdayberr, Look in the link below to download the pdf on thermal design guidelines for your max. temp.. Get as much info as you can,it won't be around for long....

thanks for the link to that datasheet, although i was able to open it, i cannot make sense of half of it, nor really find someplace that tells the limits of the cpus temps, if anyone is willing to help me find it in that datasheet i would be very appricative

I understand that some over clockers have pushed their systems as high as 70°c+. I have always heard that generally anything over 60°c was not recommend. The system may become unstable or unreliable in data processing. Also, it may result in damage to the cpu. Whether or not this pertains to your system... I dunno...

From what I gathered, they say the chip will shut down at 135°C.
The more you read it the more since it makes, the pdf...You need to interpret the meaning for yourself..

bump...never let the temp go higher than 60 degrees.

snds

i have recently been informed (thanks stan03) of sudden northwood death syndrome and reduced my voltage from 1.725 to 1.65 in my bios, making me turn the fsb from 154 down to 136. But in readings with different temp tools, it shows that its always above 1.65, MBM shows 1.66~1.71, ASUS probe shows 1.664~1.744, CPUZ shows 1.664~1.744. ive heard of asus mobos always overvoltaging from the settings. Does anyone think in light of snds that i should lower the voltage even more? Could I keep it like this?

UPDATE

i changed the vcore in the bios to 1.525 and started uping the fsb 1 MHz at a time from 110, got it up to 133 and didnt go any higher, so it might be able to oc more. mbm shows the vcore as 1.55~1.6 and it is stable still running folding@home for the 3rd hour
