Technical information on Opterons,

Often, people ask for information about Opterons and what they are all about.

For the sake of simplicity, this is a thread to post links to technical articles about the Opteron. (not just reviews, or happy-fan posts, but solid, technical information.)

Today, I discovered this article over at gamepc, which explains in very simple language, some of the features of the Opteron, but its memory controller, in particular.

Very good article on the Athlon64 3200+. Its a bit of a review but a very good article explaining SOI and the more technical workings. Information still pertains to the opterons since the only main difference is the extra HT link. Also includes information on the different chipsets available at the time of writing.
