Warped mobo!?

Has anyone ever experienced a warped mobo?

I had my board off last night putting a modified NB cooler on and I noticed that my board is bubbled out in the processor area!? It is also slightly misformed in the other areas around it.

I immediately started to worry becasue I thought 'If it is bowing out the back, then the proc is most likely moving away from the HS~ Oh S**t!!!!!'

I have never seen this before, and I have o/c'd other systems ~

I haven't seen high temps ~ it feels cool, it doesn't crash , it's under volted.....wtf is going on? I didn't have the frame of mind to take pictures of it while it was off, but below is a very close representation of what it looks like.

Are you completely sure it isn't too hot? It seems like only 2 things could do that: either heat or some sort of pressure from the HSF.

This is normal for a P4 setup.

There used to be some pictures on the Intel site showing how much flex you would see using the retail HSF and it was eye-opening, but do not worry, again, this is perfectly normal.

OK, go here, then scroll down to the PROCESSOR INSTALLATION section, then read note 5 about the motherboard flexing. Perfectly normal...

Wow ~ One would think that it would be harmful. I guess those stock HSF really put a load on the board. Thanks I can sleep now..lol

Whoah, I never knew that could happen. I run an AMD setup so I've never seen anything like that.

No I didn't. I know I would have noticed it before if my mobo was warped.
