Best case for $100?

My Budget allows $100 for the case and power supply.
I was thinking about this one?? I want a 400W or better power supply.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...=BROWSE&depa=1

Is there a better overall case and powersupply for less than $100?

Thanks
Rob

The PSU is only 350w, but its way better than that s***ty 420w.

Plus the build quality of an Antec can't be beat... Did I mention it has 120mm fan support?

Some people say Antec PSU's are good, but I've never used or seen a good review of one myself. You do not want to skimp on the power supply.

If I were in this market like you are, I would get a ~$40 sparkle 400 watt PSU from newegg. (VERY GOOD cheap PSU) I would spend the other ~$60 on a case.

However, most people anymore seem to put a high value on cathodes and uber |337 windows, so they would probably reccomend skimping on the PSU to get a nice looking case.

If you plan to OC, a solid PSU will be the best thing you ever buy.

I followed that newegg link - you could always buy that case recommended if you like it, and sell the PSU replacing it with a sparkle PSU. That will put you under $100 once you sell the PSU that comes with the case.

That case comes with an unspecified 400 watt power supply - which might mean its junk.

I wouldn't recommend a case that came without a good PSU. Doesn't really matter how cool your PC looks if you can't overclock because your PSU lines run crappy.

iD10t has the best bet, I think. Just slightly more than you wanted, and with one of the best PSUs in the world.

Quick guide to PSUs:
PC Power & Cooling = Best, but horribly expensive
Fortron/Sparkle units with FSP at the start of the model number = Great, best price/performance ratio
Antec TruePower/TrueBlue/TrueControl over 380 watts = Great, well-known brand that's been around a long time
Enermax = Good, well known brand but with lesser build quality than others
Channelwell Technology (CWT) = Depends on model, generally good (CWT makes Antec PSUs)
Raidmax/Powmax or Deer = REALLY REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Generic = You get what you pay for. Some are decent, some are trash.

Quality (brand/model) is always more important than quantity (watts).

Heavier PSUs are generally better than ligher ones.

I will third that,

that aopen is what i'm using. I build alot of systems and it's the most well designed case i've ever used. very very nice. IMO it puts the antec/chieftec/aspire cases to shame .

Also, that 350w fortron PSU will work circles around most 400w+ generic psu's.
