Question with my o/c

I have a 2.8.c M0 at default vcore and 1 Geil 512 at 6-3-3-2.5 at 2.9vdimm(comes up 2.8 in bios) at 1:1. My fsb is at 226. If I go 227 it is unstable. I bumped up vcore to 1.55 and it didnt help. Im nervous about going higher due to temps, (although I have an Abit and am still unsure how high it reads. Im at 42 idle and 50 load). What should I do to try and go higher. (I do have 2x512 OZC gold pc3700 on the way this week)

You need to use the 5:4 ratio if you want to go higher. You also need to two sticks of RAM for dual channel.
