Awfully broad topic for a journal based research paper. What class is it for and what's the assignment?

well the paper doesnt have to be based soley off these scholarly journals i just need one or two of these as sources and i can also use the interenet also, but i just need some scholarly journals to look at. The class is a computer organization and architecture class, and in supposed to research the latest chip design of the intel pentium or amd family
