Is anything different enough about SC2 to make it super sweet... I liked SC1 but it doesn't make me want to play it again after already having done it once.

SC2 will have MP support. Up to 4 ppl can play with 2 different classes. First class will be like sam fischer (stealthy, fast, and deadly with third person) while second class will be a run'em up shooter type that's only stuck in first person. I want them to release a demo.

Didn't stop people from buying GTA Vice City.

Looks like I better get on the ball and finish ninja gaiden. There really is a great selection of games coming out in the next few months.

There is a lot of replayability value in the GTA series... I know lots of people who continue to play after having beat the game. There are virtually infinite possibilities and it takes time to reach 100% completion.

I'll probably pick up SC2 still but its hard to pay $50 for a game I won't play much after I beat it in a few days. I almost regretted buying SC1, and would have if it wasn't for the fact that it was considerably different from anything else I've played before with the stealth aspect.

Ign has an article about the multiplayer aspect and this part caught my attention.
Quote:
Pandora Tomorrow also allows your foes to hear your voice if you are near them. But to make things even cooler, a stealthy Spy can put a choke hold on a Merc and whisper into his ear as he puts him to sleep (or death). There's also a Spy Bullet, which a Spy can tag a Merc with and briefly listen in on all his conversations. As with lighting, sound is much more crucial to Pandora's gameplay than Rainbow Six's.
How freaking cool is that.

Ugh. The demo sucks.

I played for 30 minutes or so and still could not beat it. 1 simple mistake means you have to redo everything.

Not to mention the HORRIBLE AI. It's completly unrealistic to shoot out a light 20 feet in front of a guy (facing you) and not have him notice! Pathetic!

And of course when I get past the conversationg recording, I'm on my way back, knock at the gaurd by the guy's room on the train, pass the guys room and WHOOPS. Apparently there was an invisible time limit on the mission, because I "Missed my oppurtunity"

I know the one place this game is going.

My trash can.

Dled the demo, tried it and it kept crashing on me along with some weird graphics artifacts. In their readme it said users with 4.2 catalysts should switch drivers. Just a heads up if anyone owns ATI and banging their heads.
