I recently bought an ABIT AI7 and a P4 2.8E prescott.
After I bought a new waterblock to keep it cool, I did some prime95 testing to see how hot it would get, and the CPU temps were just fine, however the PWM temperatures were getting pretty high.

How high is too high for the PWM?
I saw around 45-48C under full load at times.

Thanks,
-Chris

45-48C is not too bad. If need be, get a case fan and blow it over the mosfets and capacitors around the cpu to keep PWM temps down.

Yes, I did that last night. I had 2 exhaust fans that really don't do too much where they are placed, so I spun them 90 degrees and fastened them to blow on that entire area. Figured it couldn't hurt any. Not sure if it helped, didn't do much testing as it was late and had to work today.

Just wanted to see how hot is too hot ;)

Thanks,
-Chris
