Will a mach 1 handle....

Ok im gonna use a prometia mach 1 setup with a pentium 4 based setup. Few questions here.

1. Will a mach 1 handle a Prescott at 4Ghz?
2. What would be better to use, a P4 C or E?
3. Would a 3.4C be easier to oc then say a 3.0 because of higher multiplier? I will be using pc4400 memory if that helps.
4. What would be the best mainboard to use, i have been lookin at the asus p4c800 e deluxe.

1. My Prescott 2.8e will do 4 GHz at like 1.575 at about -7*c but my motherboard was too hot.
2. I'd say a c but I've seen promising things out of the 3.0e & 3.2e.
3. If you can afford it go with the 3.4 you may have a chance of hitting 4100+.
4. I really like my P4C800-E Deluxe. The only issue is you need to do the jump start mod.

that mod is about the easiest mod you can do. to get to the oc's you're looking for, you may need to do a vdimm and droop mod, which is a whole different story.

I'm using a 250 watt AT psu to power my mach 1 and the PSU doesnt even get warm.

you just connect the green wire on the ATX connector to a ground and it will power up if you wanna use a ATX psu.

Id say go for the 3.4C lots of guys are getting 4.4~4.7ghz with it. Would take some mods to go to 4.6~4.7 though

The prescott scailing theory is really bull unless you go to 5ghz and above
