I remember seeing a website where it talked about connecting two pins on a T-Bred or Barton in order to unlock the multipliers. Can someone link me to a website with this info?

On older Durons and Thunderbirds, closing the L1 bridges unlocked the mutlipliers. The multiplier is controlled by the L3 bridge on Tbreds and Bartons.

Newer Tbreds and Bartons are now superlocked - the multiplier cannot be changed. However, you can unlock mobile Bartons.

Will this mode work on superlocked bartons?

No.

Superlocked Bartons are core-locked. There is no way to unlock them.

If you want a guaranteed unlocked chip, you'll have to get a mobile Barton.
