I have a NF7-S and am looking for some upgraded cooling. I have a few options and would like to know which would be most practical. Keep in mind how high my chip is likely to go (its a 2500+)
1: Stocker + new TIM and lapping.
2: Take a stop PIII Tualatin HSF and cut it in half so the dimensions would be: 63mm L x 37.5mm W x 25mm H. Fin seperation = 2mm. 20 full sized fins. 2 half sized fins. and a 4mm gap on one side. Probably passive but could have a 60 on it
3: Zalman passive NB HSF
4: Thermalright NB1 (i REALLY dont want to spend this much but i will if its determind i need one)
Thanks for your input guys.
