thermochill radiators

i just came across these radiators and they seem quite expensive. are they worth their cost or would i most likely be better off with a heatercore. does anyone own one of these?

lol

I tried to pick a few important lines from the article's last page:

The ThermoChill radiators are extremely well built, compact and convenient to use due to the built-in shroud, threaded connections and bleed screw. The combination of these features is unique and affords the watercooling enthusiast a range of solutions to fit any cooling need.

(...) but one conclusion is clear: For low noise applications the fan – radiator combination must be tested to assure adequate performance. And if such testing has been done, end users for whom low noise is a primary concern certainly should utilize the specific fan recommended.

Worth remembering: “It is all about air flow, i.e. getting the heat out of the rad (...)".

In summary, my interpretation is that they're very good performers, but need capable fans to do so.

Nicely done N803.

Good airflow is important with any radiator. The Thermochills are good radiators, but if you're looking for bang for your buck, a heatercore would probably be a better route. A little more work and a little cheaper, but both ways will perform well.

yeah i was mostly asking because sometimes if they have a really high price they are either just decent or excellant performers. by the way thermochill readiators are not cheap by any means.
