is this an unlocked 3000+

A weird thing is going on here. I have a 3000+. thought the multipliers were locked? in my bios , if i set the speed to manual then i can change the multipliers. it is set to 14.
any comments. mb is a asus a7v8x-x

what week is it and is this an a64 or a barton 3000+. some of the post week 41 03 chips and 04's are coming unlocked so it is possible, you just got lucky.
 
It's a barton 3000+.
I have it running at 2.38 with 1.70 volts.
going to leave it here for a day or so.
 
It's not what you can set it to in BIOS -- it's what you can boot with.

If you can boot with 14 than yeah it's unlocked.
