Spent last weekend OC my M-2600+ (Stepping AQYHA0346 XPMW) wanted to post the results and have some questions for you experienced folks. (I am relatively new to this stuff). All are prime stable.
Memory Timing: 6,3,2,2. SDRAM: 2.6v, ChipSet:1.6v

200x11 (2.20 Ghz), Vcore:1.500 Case: 30 CPU: 42 3dMark03 :5690
210x11 (2.31 Ghz), Vcore:1.575 Case: 31 CPU: 45 3dMark03 :5707
211x11 (2.32 Ghz), Vcore:1.650 Case: 33 CPU: 50 3dMark03 :5735
160x15 (2.40 Ghz), Vcore:1.650 Case: 30 CPU: 46 3dMark03 :5638

Temperatures are reported as peak under load.

Can someone explain to me why at 2.4 Ghz my 3dMark score is so low?

I am trying to keep my system relatively quit so my case fans are set on low rpm and using a thermaltake silent boost HS, but can anyone offer some additional BIOS tweaks that might give performance without increasing the Vcore? I am assuming that I should keep CPU temp around 50c.

Thanks.

Your FSB is only 160, so your memory bandwidth is lower. Try running 200x12 and your performance will jump. Why are you running at only 160 for 2.4Ghz?

Tried running at 200x12 at 1.65v failed prime. My cpu temps were hovering around 49c (load). I will try bumping up the vcore and see what happens this evening.

I dont know why I am running 160 for 2.4Ghz - My temps were nice and low - I thought I was faster until I saw my Benchmark results.

Ok - Now I understand how you figure your FSB speed.
