Please post write speed

With the recent glut in processors, many people are spending their money on storage solutions until the next generation of mobo's come along.I am constantly asked for bang for the buck solutions relating to hard drives and raid setups.I have been using a handy little program called Eraser 5.7 which overwrites files with multiple passes for security. After transferring allot of large files and timing them, I would use a 7 pass erase on them. After staring at the screen forever i noticed that if you tick the show results,it does.It writes 0's over the file so it is gone.If you would like to try it here is a link.
after using please post the write results like this;

20 gig wd 200bb

Data Written 4134
Write Time 316 seconds
Write speed 13395 kbs

2x Maxtor dx9 80 gb with PCI raido (silicon Image) pir133

Data Written 4134
Write Time 44.3 seconds
Write Speed 95401 kbs

2x Maxtor dx740 40 gb with PCI Acard hardware raid0

Data written 4134
Write time 106 seconds
Write speed 39774 kbs

Even though Both arrays score fairly close with Atto, you can see the advantage the Pir133 has when using an application. With a lack of usable benchmarks I would feel much better about recommending setups based on Information I could get here.

Anyone else? I can't believe there are no posts for raptors. Please any single drive or arrays are appreciated.
Eraser is a good prog to have,it adds itself to the right click menu for instant erasure so it doesn't take up room on your hard drive. It totally overwrites 4.5 gigs on my array in less than 6 minutes.

I almost d/led this prog, but afraid I might accidently erase my 2 HD, especially the maxtor w/ all the music files.

That would actually be hard to do as it asks you to confirm any delete. It does however overwrite free space on a given drive.I have used it to erase free space on all but my OS drive(I just don't think its a good idea).
